THE BRIEF
Design an outfit that will:
Reduce the amount of the Earth's resources that are used in production.
Reuse, don't just bin it, find a new purpose, transform it!
Recycle, can other ‘waste’ materials be incorporated and given a new lease of life?
We are delighted to announce the winners of our Ethical Design Competition sponsored by Belfast City Council.

£150 will be allocated to buy the materials needed to makeup your design. This will include a private consultation with a well-known Irish designer to get tips and advice on the design as well as time with an experienced seamstress who will bring your design to life.
Your outfit will also be showcased on the catwalk as part of Belfast’s Autumn/Winter Fashion Calendar - Professional Photos of your creation on a model.
Over 16s
£500 will be provided so you can work in consultation with an Irish designer who will help you develop a capsule four piece fashion collection based on your winning idea as well as a skilled seamstress to help with production.
Your mini-collection will be showcased on the catwalk as part of Belfast’s Autumn/Winter 2009 Fashion Calendar.
